この人は偽ルル錬金術文書の研究の現在第一人者。ここでは、ルル文献に見られる「メディシーナ」(人間と金属の両方の病気を治すと考えられた)の概念について。 「金属の病気」とは、元来、錬金術の伝統では、卑金属は貴金属の出来損ないと考えられていて、それを 「治療する」ことが錬金作業とみなされていたからです。
